The verdict depends on what a comment says, not who wrote it. ZenFeed never looks at your profile, your history, or your follower count — only the text and its context.

How the decision is made
Three steps, every time — no exceptions for who's asking.
1. Context, not keywords
ZenFeed reads your comment together with the post it replies to. It's built to tell criticism apart from abuse, and sarcasm from a real threat — not just match a list of banned words.
2. A toxicity score, 0–100
Every comment gets a score from 0 (clean) to 100 (extreme hate or abuse). The page owner — not ZenFeed — decides the threshold above which action is taken.
3. Hide or delete
Above the threshold, the comment is hidden (visible only to its author) or deleted, depending on what the page owner configured. Below it, nothing happens.
What doesn't get touched
Criticism, disagreement, and a sharp tone are not violations. ZenFeed won't silence anyone for disliking a post — moderation isn't censorship.
What actually gets removed
Threats, coordinated harassment, and hate speech aimed at driving someone out of the conversation. That's the line — not opinion.

Privacy
Comment text is processed in the EU and permanently deleted after 30 days by default — along with the author's name and ID. What remains is numerical data only (toxicity score, moderation decision) plus an irreversible hash of the author's ID, which is what keeps your blocklist statistics working. If you've opted in to extended retention, comments are kept in full to support algorithm improvement and research.

No. An AI model scores the comment for toxicity; nothing is manually reviewed unless the page owner checks their audit log.
What's the difference between hidden and deleted? expand_more
A hidden comment is only visible to the person who posted it and their friends — everyone else sees nothing. A deleted comment is gone. The page owner chooses which action applies.
